Dear San Tan Family,

Welcome to week 3!

As MAP testing is winding down and classes are locked in for the semester (with no class schedule changes), walking around campus I am seeing engaged learning and fun new electives happening around the school.

Next week is an important week as we will be having our first week of sports eligibility. Make sure that all your students have their work turned in by Friday, as teachers have until Mondays at 4pm to update their gradebooks. Grade checks are taken Tuesday morning for sports eligibility for the week. If your child is not passing a class, they will remain ineligible for the week. The athletics department has set a goal this year to maintain a program-wide 3.0 grade-point average. 

Speaking of goals, San Tan Charter has an attendance goal this year of 95%. Reminder the state requirement is 90% attendance, which means if your student(s) miss 9 days in a semester, that they can lose credit. Mr. Stuckey is working with students and families to help ensure we can support and encourage healthy school attendance protocols.

Senior Banners:

Don't forget to highlight your son or daughter in his/her final year! Senior banners are posted along Roadrunner Way for the Fall Sports Season. At the end of the season, the banner is a great memory/keepsake. Senior banners cost $175 for a full-color, double-sided banner. Family Passes: 

Games are right around the corner! Entrance into our Varsity Home Games this year will be $5 per adult and $3 per student/child, any child under 5 gets in FREE. If you plan on attending multiple wvents for our varsity sports teams, consider purchasing a San Tan Athletics Family Pass. We are offering Family Passes for $50 per season. If your student-athlete is a multi-sport athlete playing on teams throughout the year, consider purchasing our Annual Family Pass for $100. *Please note: there is no entry fee for Junior High home games.
