Dear San Tan Family,

We are in week 4 of our school year and already have half days and Homecoming on our mind. Wednesday, Aug. 28 will be our first half-day schedule. We will be hosting a pep assembly on that day during our college and career period and be sure to save the date for September 22-28 for Homecoming week.

This week Fall Sports are in full force and today we have our first grade check for sport eligibility. This week we will also get our first look at the varsity football team, which scrimmages this Thursday at Ben Franklin High School at 5:30pm.

Power Campus Paper Drive

Ms. Strittmatter is making her case as the new Queen of the Paper Drive! Ms. Polk is is closely behind with Mr. Dudek looking to make his claim for the throne.

The winning teacher receives a $250 gift card for their classroom. Please turn in all paper to the front office with the name of the teacher whose classroom you would like it donated. Additional points awarded for colored paper and cardstock!

Roadrunner Adventure Club (Junior High and High School)

Looking for adventure? Let's explore our home state together. This outdoor club will meet on Thursdays to plan and go on outdoor adventures together in the Arizona wilderness on Saturdays (twice a month). The group will hike and enjoy the best of our state’s pristine wilderness together.

Meets: Thursdays at 7:30-8:00am in Room 504
