Dear San Tan Family,
The summer weeks are moving quickly and great work is happening at San Tan. The district administrative team met last week at its annual retreat at Mt. Claret to set yearly goals, and has mapped out a plan to increase attendance rates, continue to raise state testing scores, and to invest in professional development and certification for our teachers.
If you haven't read the latest San Tan Charter School article in the Arizona Republic, our state championship boys basketball team was highlighted for being invited to one of the most prestigious big school tournaments in Arizona. The Roadrunners took down Millenium and Brophy Prep this past weekend and was able to make its mark in the brightest lights of Arizona high school basketball. Also last weekend, the boys football team traveled to Northern Arizona University for a 7 on 7 tournament and big man camp, and will play this evening in a similar tournament at Arizona State University.
