Dear San Tan Family,

The countdown has started for the end of first semester! This Friday is the last day to submit assignments for semester 1 grading and next week is finals week. Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for next Wednesday and Thursday as well as half-day schedules Wednesday-Friday before winter break.

Nutrition and Allergy Policy

With the holidays upon us, please remember:

Nut-Free: No foods containing nuts to protect students with severe allergies.
Low-Sugar: Foods with added sugars, candy, or sugary drinks (including soda) are not allowed.
Classroom Celebrations: Only foods aligning with our policies are permitted. Teachers will communicate in advance about food-related activities to ensure inclusivity.

Group Home Christmas

Help us keep this San Tan tradition!

As we begin our preparation for the holidays, we want to encourage the handful of students who for one reason or another do not have the opportunity to spend Christmas with their families.

Three years ago the culinary department took the lead in creating a surprise celebration for our students and since that time we have been able to send students off on winter break knowing that they have a family right here at San Tan Charter.

To continue the tradition, we ask for community support. Below you will find a list of items (food and gifts) for which you can donate to help give our students and amazing Christmas. We ask that all donations, food or gifts, be brought in by December 17, 2024. If you are unable to purchase any of the items and wish to donate monetarily, you may do so at the main office.

We can not thank you enough for your selfless giving this Christmas.

Winter Parent-Teacher Conferences

Conferences are organized in 90-minute blocks with the average conference time lasting 10 minutes. Please select the time block that is most convenient for your family and select the teachers you would like to conference with before selecting "submit".

Families will meet in the student union during their scheduled time block and wait for their teacher(s) to come and meet them for their appointment. This format allows families to move through all conferences with the least amount of wait time.
