Thanksgiving time is here!
With a long list of reasons to be grateful, I want to say thank you to our school founders, Kris and Rita Sippel, you had an amazing dream 20 years ago! To the San Tan Charter teachers, you inspire us daily with how you provide and care for your students' and school's success. To our incredible kids who form the culture at STC, the energy you share makes this a great place to work. And lastly, to the parents, by consistently sharing your time and resources in supporting the school, you've been a force multiplier in helping us reach new heights. Thank you all for making San Tan Charter the Best Small School in the East Valley.
Starting on December 2, enrollment is open to new families. Space is limited and seats are filling in grades 7-12, so I urge you to take time over the break to re-enroll your students.
As you know, this year San Tan Charter School achieved the prestigious status of an A-rated school by the Arizona Department of Education. This designation of an A-rating reflects distinguished performance on statewide assessments, significant student growth, high four-year graduation rates, and a strong trajectory toward proficiency. Overall, our performance significantly exceeds the state average.
As we look closely at our A-rating in our geographic area, the Power Campus outperformed all other high schools:
- San Tan Charter High School – 97.28%
- Benjamin Franklin High School – 97.07%
- Eastmark High School – 94.60%
- Highland High School – 92.07%
- ALA Gilbert North High School – 91.69%
- Higley/Williams Field High School – 91.60%
