Dear Roadrunner,

Happy Tuesday! The school year is in full swing, and our teachers and students are loving it. MAP Testing is going smooth, our students have found their routines, and they are all enjoying the morning recess. 

Our Dismissal lines are going very smooth now in the afternoon. Remember, if you are a mainstream/gifted parent, there is no line after 3:08 pm, and if you are a Montessori/sibling parent, there is no line after 3:30 pm. Thank you all for your patience with this new process, but this gives us the opportunity to offer every one of our 500 students on campus PE for 30 minutes each day, along with either 30 minutes of Music or Art. 

Our Fall Clubs begin next week. Please ensure you sign up by the end of the week for any clubs you are interested in. If your 3rd-8th grader is interested in joining Student Council this year, Mrs. Sterling is having an information session on Monday, August 12th, from 8:05 - 8:25 am in Room 214.

Curriculum Night

Curriculum Night is coming up this week on Thursday, August 8th. Teachers are running two sessions for their classroom; 5-5:45 pm or 5:45-6:30 pm to ensure all parents can attend.

Grandparent's Day Lunch!

Our FEC's first event of the year is around the corner - Grandparent's Day Lunch! 

If your child's last name begins with an A-L, there lunch will take place on Thursday, September 5th. 

If your child's last name begins with an M-Z, there lunch will take place on Friday, September 6th. 

My Hot Lunch Box is Open!

My Hot Lunchbox is now open for orders! You can begin to order your child's special lunches for the semester now. Remember, there is a 24 hour deadline each day to order. Vendors for the year include; Firehouse Subs, Panda Express, Raising Canes, Rubio's, and Papa Johns! Please remember to update your student's grade level and category (Montessori). If your child is not in Montessori, just select grade level.

School Paper Drive 

Our School Paper Drive is underway! The winning class gets $250 in classroom supplies, along with a pizza party. This runs from today through Friday, September 20th. I'll be providing weekly updates starting next week on which class is in the lead.
