Happy Tuesday! A big thank you to all of our families who contributed to the Donor's Choose campaign last week on campus. 

Thank you to all of the volunteers who will be participating in Junior Achievement Day on September 24th. We are still searching for only 4 volunteers to help us. We have already gotten 17 volunteers! If you are interested, please email Ms. Berhost at carol.berhost@santancs.com

  • We do have updated half day dismissal times this school year. Mainstream/gifted dismiss from 12:00 - 12:15 pm, and Montessori/Siblings dismiss from 12:20 - 12:40 pm. 
• September 2nd: No School
• September 3rd-6th: Book Fair
• September 5th-6th: Grandparent's Day Lunch - see below for more details. 
• September 11th: Picture Day
• September 12th: Thai Chili2Go Restaurant Fundraiser Day

School Spotlight

A big congratulations to Mrs. Hubbard on receiving the Sprouts Healthy Community Foundation Grant! San Tan was awarded $9,500 towards funding for new or existing school-based gardening programs which will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities that bring nutrition education to life for students. Awesome work, Mrs. Hubbard, and THANK YOU!

Roadrunner Night Out

RRNO is a 5-7:30 pm event where parents can drop off their San Tan students to enjoy an evening out while your kids have fun and stay safe with games, arts, and crafts. This is overseen by Mrs. Hubbard and our Montessori Adolescent students. Our first one of the year is coming up on Friday, August 23rd. 

Half-Day Camp: August 28th

Our first half-day of the school year is coming up on Wednesday, August 28th. If you need to sign up for half-day camp, please see below:

Grandparent's Day Lunch!

Our FEC's first event of the year is around the corner - Grandparent's Day Lunch! The Book Fair will also be open during these times and available to shop. 

If your child's last name begins with an A-L, there lunch will take place on Thursday, September 5th. 

If your child's last name begins with an M-Z, there lunch will take place on Friday, September 6th. 

School Paper Drive 

Our School Paper Drive is underway! The winning class gets $250 in classroom supplies, along with a pizza party. This runs from today through Friday, September 20th. I'll be providing weekly updates starting next week on which class is in the lead.

It is official folks - Mrs. Yocklin's class is in 1st place! 

Book Fair Volunteers Needed

Our Book Fair is around the corner: September 3rd-6th. To ensure we have a successful Book Fair, we need our book fair fully staffed with volunteers. Please see below for opportunities to volunteer.

Mark your calendars! On Thursday, September 12th, Thai Chili 2Go is giving 40% of proceeds back to San Tan Charter School to support our school. This fundraiser is running all day at the following three locations; City Gate, Mesa, and San Tan.
