Happy Tuesday! We successfully have finished all MAP Testing, including make-ups today. Our teachers are diving into content and our school year is now in full swing. Thank you to those who were able to attend our Curriculum Night last Thursday. It was great hearing the positive feedback from both teachers and parents.
We had a very large interest in Student Council at yesterday's meeting - over 40 kids! We can't wait to have these kids contribute their leadership skills to the school and see the amazing things they plan for our students.
Junior Achievement Day is around the corner on September 24th. If you are interested in helping/volunteering with JA Day this year, please email your child's teacher.

School Spotlight
Our teachers are working hard this year on quick transitions and making every minute matter. Our Kindergarteners were doing an activity between the transition of PE and Art to keep them engaged, and our 1st graders were making use of their bathroom break by practicing spelling their high-frequency words and writing them in the air.
Roadrunner Night Out
RRNO is a 5-7:30 pm event where parents can drop off their San Tan students to enjoy an evening out while your kids have fun and stay safe with games, arts, and crafts. This is overseen by Mrs. Hubbard and our Montessori Adolescent students. Our first one of the year is coming up on Friday, August 23rd.
We have many Fall Clubs that we are offering this school year. Take a look at our Fall Club Catalog below. Fall Clubs began yesterday! If you are still interested in joining, please reach out to the club representative.
Our FEC's first event of the year is around the corner - Grandparent's Day Lunch! The Book Fair will also be open during these times and available to shop.
Our School Paper Drive is underway! The winning class gets $250 in classroom supplies, along with a pizza party. This runs from today through Friday, September 20th. I'll be providing weekly updates starting next week on which class is in the lead.
Mrs. Sauber's class is still in the lead.... but Mrs. Yocklin's class is right behind them!
Book Fair Volunteers Needed
Our Book Fair is around the corner: September 3rd-6th. To ensure we have a successful Book Fair, we need our book fair fully staffed with volunteers. Please see below for opportunities to volunteer.
