MAP Testing began today for our students and will occur periodically through August 8th. These benchmarks provide valuable data about how your students are doing with both math and reading.

Dismissal Process
With the staggered dismissal times this school year and a new process, this will be a learning curve for all our families. So far, you are all doing great, and we are grateful for your patience! Teachers are loving the opportunity to put names to faces already for the parents of their students.
Please note, the reason for the staggered dismissal is so all of our students can receive their 30 minutes of PE per day, along with 30 minutes of either Music or Art/Makerspace.
Arrival:
Arrival has been going very smooth, and our tardy rate is down significantly from previous school years.
Dismissal:
Gifted & Mainstream Car Arrival for Pick-Up: 2:55-3:10 pm
Montessori Car Arrival for Pick-Up: 3:15 pm
Montessori Pick-Up Begins: 3:20 pm - 3:40 pm. It is important to note that by 3:32 pm there is no line for Montessori pick-up.
Important:
Please ensure your car tag is displayed clearly in the front of your car. If you have multiple children, you display all car tags.

Grandparent's Day Lunch!
Our FEC's first event of the year is around the corner - Grandparent's Day Lunch!
My Hot Lunchbox is now open for orders! You can begin to order your child's special lunches for the semester now. Remember, there is a 24 hour deadline each day to order. Vendors for the year include; Firehouse Subs, Panda Express, Raising Canes, Rubio's, and Papa Johns! Please remember to update your student's grade level and category (Montessori). If your child is not in Montessori, just select grade level.
Our School Paper Drive is underway! The winning class gets $250 in classroom supplies, along with a pizza party. This runs from today through Friday, September 20th. I'll be providing weekly updates starting next week on which class is in the lead.
