Hi Roadrunner,

Thank you to all parents and family members who are volunteering today to allow our teachers to enjoy a nice lunch and gelato. They are really feeling the love already this week!

Our Recker Music Concert was a huge success last week. A big thank you to our Art Masterpiece volunteers for their time in hanging up the artwork, as well as Mrs. Cabrera for organizing a great show!

Yearbooks have arrived! These are being organized and will be distributed on Monday, May 13th. If you did not order a yearbook and would like to order one, please contact the Front Office. 

Friendly reminder to send your child with a water bottle to school each day. It is getting hot outside, and I would even recommend a quick layer of sunscreen in the morning as well. 

Please remember to support our Gifted program and buy some 'Swig' below. We are also running our House of Refuge cereal drive. Please see below for many upcoming items!

Save the Date - Open House, 24-25 SY

Save the date for our Open House event for the 24-25 school year. This will be the afternoon/evening of Thursday, July 18th. 

Coffee and Conversation

Mrs. Cox will be available for a cup of coffee and donuts this Thursday, May 9th, from 9-10 am. This is an opportunity to chat and hear about plans for the upcoming school year!

House of Refuge Cereal Drive

Mrs. Witte and Ms. Berhost’s 1st-3rd grade Saguarriors are organizing and hosting a Cereal Drive to benefit families at the House of Refuge. House of Refuge is a local, non-profit organization that provides transitional housing and basic human needs for families experiencing homelessness in the East Valley.

This is a completely student-led project. Saguarrior students will be collecting nut-free cereal May 13th-17th. Paper grocery bags will be sent home with student-made flyers attached for San Tan families to fill with unopened cereal. Collection boxes will be placed outside each classroom. Their goal is to collect 3,000 boxes of cereal! Thank you for supporting our students and community!

Gifted Information Night

The Gifted Information Night is this evening. We would like to take a moment to welcome our new additions to San Tan's Gifted Program!  We understand that you may have many questions about our program and what 'gifted' really means. Please stop by this evening at the Power campus to learn more.
