Remember, we are taking donations for the House of Refuge Cereal Drive this week. We have our assembly with the House of Refuge on Friday during the school day, and then the Yearbook Signing Party in the afternoon.
Let's finish off the school year strong next week with a fun Spirit Week sponsored by Student Council!

House of Refuge Cereal Drive
Mrs. Witte and Ms. Berhost's 1st-3rd grade classes are leading a Cereal Drive May 12-16th to benefit families and kids living at the House of Refuge. Please consider donating nut-free cereal to our completely student-driven drive. The classes have adopted the catch phrase “Kids Helping Kids”. This is the last week to bring in cereal! We will celebrate this Friday with an assembly during the school day.
The House of Refuge, located in Mesa, is a non-profit organization providing transitional housing and support services to homeless families. Mrs. Witte and Ms. Berhost’s students hope to fill the bellies of children during the summer months when they don't have access to free school breakfasts and lunches.
The yearbook is in production, and we have heard from the printing plant that there is currently a limited supply of additional yearbooks for this school year. These yearbooks are available on a first come, first serve basis and can be ordered online at Jostens.com. Save the date for our Yearbook Signing Party this Friday, May 16th, 3:45-5 pm for all families who have purchased a yearbook. Yearbooks for purchase upon arrival and distribution in May are NOT guaranteed, so if you would like a book from this school year, we recommend you order online as soon as possible.

We are having a Montessori Book Study - The Montessori Potential - that will begin in June and go through the month of October with monthly meetings. Please see below if you are interested in signing up along with dates.
