MAP Testing began this week and our kiddos are off to a great start! The MAP Growth Test provides our teachers and administrators with valuable data and trends in both student's academic reading and math progress.
Our Spring Club Catalog will be shared over Winter Break. We are excited for our new club offerings, and are looking to add Girls on the Run! If you are interested in helping with Girls on the Run or signing up your daughter, please reach out to the Front Office.

San Tan Charter School has achieved the prestigious status of an A-rated school and district! An A rating reflects excellence: distinguished performance on statewide assessments, significant student growth, high four-year graduation rates, and a strong trajectory toward proficiency. Overall, our performance significantly exceeds the state average. As we dive into this rating, some remarkable statistics emerge. Out of 602 schools across Arizona, The K-12 Recker Campus ranked 50th—an incredible achievement!

Our Festival of Fine Arts is this Thursday! Please see our Save the Date below to add it to your calendar. Each group will be representing a different type of art genre and will sing songs that match each style of art. “Fine arts” being interpreted as both music and art. Our music performances will be in the gym, and our art walk will be in the cafeteria. Please ensure your child is arriving 15 minutes prior to their scheduled performance time.
Please note - Food trucks (BBQ and Taco) will both be available starting at 4:30 pm if you'd like to make it an evening and grab dinner as well!
School Spotlight - Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
What a great afternoon at the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving last Wednesday! A big thank you to our FEC, Student Council, and all our parents who brought in donations of sweet treats. It was a great way to kick off our Thanksgiving Break with a reminder of how grateful we are for our amazing community.
Class Picture Day and Picture Retake Day
Class Picture Day is coming up on Wednesday, December 11th. All students will participate in Class Pictures, and these will appear in the yearbook. If you want your student to participate in an individual retake, please email your child's teacher directly. If your child is new to San Tan and didn't get an individual photo done in September, they will be pulled for their individual photo on December 11th.
