Dear Roadrunner,

 

Welcome back! It has been so great to have our buildings feel 'alive' again. Yesterday went amazing! The effort put into setting clear expectations in Quarter 1 is clearly reflected in the smooth transitions back to the classrooms.

 

A big congratulations to our Junior High Boys Baseball Team who won the state championship over Fall Break! Two players, Vinny H. and Michael D., are Recker students. Congrats boys!

International Cultural Fair

Thanks to our FEC both the Book Fair and Grandparent's Day Lunches were smooth and well-organized! They are already hard at work planning our next big activity; the International Cultural Fair. We need families to sign up for tables to host countries, along with signing up to volunteer as well. Please see links below. The International Cultural Fair is set for Thursday, October 31st.

4th-6th Grade Cheer Club

Calling all 4th-6th graders interested in cheer! 
Our Parent and Cheerleader Meeting will be Thursday, October 17th @ 3:45pm, at the Recker Campus. Please come if you have an interest in cheer!
 
Cheer Team Basics:
Practice 3x/week (except weeks with game days)
CAA Competition: January, 2025
Flag Football Season: January
Basketball Season: March
 
All opportunities will be discussed at the meeting!
 
Last year at flag football and basketball games, our team got several compliments, some from the other team families saying we were the best they've seen at our age! Let's take this and see how competitive we can be!!

Roadrunner Night Out

RRNO is a 5-7:30 pm event where parents can drop off their San Tan students to enjoy an evening out while your kids have fun and stay safe with games, arts, and crafts. This is overseen by Mrs. Hubbard and our Montessori Adolescent students. Our October one is coming up on Friday, October 25th.
